Neliswa Vundla is a Gospel musician who was born and raised in KZN, Umzimkhulu, in a small village called Entsikeni. She was raised by her late mother, Wendy Tshoba, who played a vital role in her music career while she was growing up. Neliswa started singing at an early age of 4 years, and that’s when people began to recognize her wonderful and unique voice. As she approached her teen years, she started singing at funerals, weddings, and also at church.
Her strong voice caught the attention of a few musicians, with whom she ended up collaborating, such as Sandisa Zincume (Sosha) and the late Sizabantu Magaqa, who also played a significant role in her music career. Neliswa released her first album titled “Kusenguye,” where she worked with diverse local artists like Siphelele Ngubane, who also gave her much experience in the music industry. Later, she released her second album titled “NgenaNathi,” produced by Collen from Hit After Hits Music Productions. This album brought healing and faith to people who had lost their loved ones and faith in the Lord.
“NgenaNathi” brought her into the spotlight, as her songs were played on Harry Gwala Fm by Soks, the radio presenter. She was also interviewed on Convience Radio by Bhekokwakhe Ngcobo, SYR Radio, Alex FM, and more. Neliswa is a strong Christian who firmly believes in God. She states that her parents, the late Wendy Tshoba and Mtungwa Zwane, played a significant role in her music career, and she will forever be grateful.
She has now released a song with Godgiven Buthelezi and Sgwili, entitled “Ungcwele Jehova,” which will be followed by an album . Bambelela ku Jesu is a single track from her upcoming album.
